Anna Paterlini, Co-Founder and Client Director of NEWU
Anna is co-founder and client director of NEWU, the consulting firm offering strategic and creative advice in communication, marketing and business with a phygital approach. Starting from the firm belief that intimacy at scale is the holy grail of any successful campaign, she co-founded NEWU to go on a mission to explore how creativity, technology & media can create & craft new spaces to connect global brands to their audience. With NEWU and in her previous R&D role the media industry, Anna has worked for clients such as Prada, Sky, Netflix, Warner Bros, Samsung and Spotify for which she succeeded in letting the deaf ‘hear’ for the first time with an innovative wearable technology able to convert sound in touch data. Anna is a trained cultural heritage practitioner and marketer and holds an MBA from the London School of Business and Finance. She’s also contributing to classes in marketing, communications and advertising at The American University of Rome and the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA). One of the early members of Hella Network, Anna is committed together with over 500 communication professionals to reach gender equality in the workplace and overcome the gender pay gap in the creative industries in Italy.
Lavinia Francia, Executive Creative Director, Ogilvy Milan (OGILVY ITALIA)
Lavinia dreamed of becoming a librarian since her childhood but fell in love with advertising changed plans along the way. She started her career in below the line in a small agency in Bologna, her hometown, then joined the digital team in Publicis and moved to Ogilvy in 2014 as a senior copywriter, where she now works as Executive Creative Director. Together with her creative partner Francesco she leads teams towards a fully integrated and multidisciplinary approach, merging classic advertising with data, innovation, social platforms and technology to spark a conversation around big ideas. Through the years she met many local and global clients (Nutella, Prime Video, Jeep, Fiat, Emergency, adidas), collected many awards (Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, New York Festivals, Piaf, ADCI Awards) and served in many national and international juries (Clio, Golden Drum, ADCI, Gerety Awards). She is an avid music and literature lover, loves going on music pilgrimages around the world, and you can spot her riding a bike to work or recharging in the Austrian Alps.
Chiara Monticelli, Group Creative Director, DUDE
Currently Group Creative Director in DUDE, Chiara started her career as copy junior in DLVBBDO back in 2008. She has worked also in 1861 United, Grey Milan and Havas; she has taught in the communication master in Naba; she has been a juror at the Italian Festival of creativity and she has won national and international awards such as Cannes Lions, Adce awards, ADCI and so on.
