The Last Photo è una nuova campagna di prevenzione del suicidio lanciata dall’associazione Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), realizzata in collaborazione con adam&eveDDB di Londra, che si propone di offrire consigli pratici su come potrebbe apparire il comportamento suicida e su come aiutare i propri cari che potrebbero pensare al suicidio.
La campagna mira anche a riequilibrare ‘l’immagine’ del suicida che potremmo avere in mente, quella di una persona esteriormente depressa, solitaria e triste. Come mostra la campagna, spesso infatti non è così e chi sta lottando contro i pensieri suicidi potrebbe invece apparire come una persona felice e di successo.
Per farlo, CALM e adam&eveDDB hanno creato un’installazione di foto di persone sorridenti, esposta in una mostra all’aperto a Londra. Scoprendo poi che sono tra le ultime immagini scattate a persone morte suicide. L’esposizione è stata supportata dal film che vedete qui, programmato all’interno del programma di ITV ‘This morning’, che ha supportato l’iniziativa.
